On the Swedish national day, June 6, Gustafsson & Sjögren delivered six watches to be displayed in the high end jewellery and watch shop Merabella on the cruise ship M/S Eurodam. The shop Merabella is known for its carefully selected assortment of very special and unique items, e.g. a large collection from Fabergé is one of the current special dislays. Gustafsson & Sjögren is very proud to be one of the brands that are present on the ship.
The main models in our display are the two new new models - Lapland Ice and Lapland Sky. Their dials have a woodgrain ladder Damascus pattern which has been colored for the Sky versions and left natural for the Ice versions. This is the forst watch for which we've also made the hour indicators in handmade Damascus steel. All indexes have been turned by hand on the watchmakers lathe, polished, etched and then repolished before dial assembly. The frosty look of glass blasted stainless steel case contrasts nicely with the highgloss polished sections and other parts. All Lapland models have handmade reindeer straps that are decorated with traditional Sapmi tin ornaments.
The display also includes the first ever watch made with Damascus steel hands - Magni - with its mother of pearl dial and Damascus steel rehaut/index ring.

Eurodam of Holland America Line visited Sweden during the national day, i.e. 6 June.

Both Patrik Sjögren and the shop manager Shafi Saboowala are happy with the preliminary display of GoS watches.
