Northern lights for Ukraine - watch & art piece up for auction at Sotheby´s
A blue&yellow Rolex-artwork that watch connoisseur and editor Balazs Ferencsi created already on February 25th inspired many in the watch community to show support for Ukraine. It was also the main inspiration for me when I wanted to do more to contribute to humanitarian support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. I got the idea of doing something with GoS together with another artist and contacted the artist Sunflowerman (Matthew Miller) to discuss the idea and was very glad that he immediately accepted to contribute. The result is the combined watch & art-piece we named "Northern lights for Ukraine". It will be auctioned by Sotheby´s Geneva during their Important Watches II action between April 27 and May 11, and all proceeds will be forwarded to Red Cross Ukraine.
