Price adjustment when setting base currency to Euro

For more than 15 years, GoS has set its prices in US Dollars, originally because most of our clients were outside Europe and Sweden is not part of the Eurozone.
Over the past year, however, the US Dollar has weakened significantly while our production costs remain primarily Europe-based. To ensure long-term stability, GoS will be switching its base currency from the US Dollar to the Euro.
We will set our new Euro prices to reflect the USD price levels from early January 2025, when the two currencies were near parity. In practice, this results in an average price increase of approximately 17%. Orders placed on or after January 17, 2026 will be invoiced in Euros (€).
For clients who prefer to pay in US Dollars, payment will be possible at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of invoicing.
